Visitors Information
We warmly welcome green fee players who come to experience the pleasure of playing the Tarrangower Golf Course. Green fee and cart hire information is available here or perhaps you would like to join us at one of our popular tournaments.
When the office is unattended, please use the self-service DotGolf kiosk to pay for your round using EFTPOS or credit card to obtain a scorecard. The kiosk is situated under cover near the practice putting green.
Overnight parking is available for green fee and tournament players travelling in fully self-contained motorhomes, caravans or campers. Please book in advance on 07 896 7257 or email the Secretary [email protected].
Shower and toilet facilities are available during building opening hours.
Animals are permitted around the close surrounds of your vehicle, however they are not permitted on course or practice areas. Please be sure to clean up after them.
Standard of Dress
A reasonable standard of dress is required at all times, both on the course and in the clubhouse.
Singlets, beach shorts, jandals or bare feet are not considered reasonable. A change of shoes is to be worn in clubrooms (i.e. not shoes that are worn on the course).
Please make every effort to comply with these standards.
Course Etiquette
Players are asked to move quickly between shots and not linger on the greens after holing out.
Mark your cards whilst awaiting your turn on the tee, not on the green.
Players are asked to avoid slow play by walking directly to their ball and assessing their shot while the player furthest from the hole plays his/her shot. Respect the rights of your playing companions.
When a lost ball or slow play holds up other players immediately following, please wave them through. Remember the lost ball rule is three minutes. On the green avoid standing on your partner or opponent’s line and stand neither behind nor in front of others who are putting.
If attending the flag keep comfortably away from the hole and avoid shadow over the putting line. Be quiet when others are putting or teeing off. Do not play over the group in front and ensure the fairway is clear, particularly on blind shots.
Respect the course, replace your divots, repair your pitch marks and rake the bunker after your shot.
